Green River Gamblers (Originally known as Head Wind) was a band from Saskatchewan, Canada which started in 1986, known for their exciting stage presence and unlimited sets of the biggest hits of the 70's, 80's and 90's. Their blend of excellent Harmonies and tight rhythms guaranteed a show that you couldn't help but enjoy.

Murl started off in Calgary with a band named Hickory, in the late 70's he moved to Saskatchewan. He formed a band called Nitelife, which had great success until he met Dave in 1986.
Dave had been playing with a band called Kickaxe, but after a few years on the road decided to stay local. He then met Murl and together they formed Headwind and had a tremendous run until their decision to disband was made in 2002. Murl and Dave then formed Green River Gamblers as a duo using backtracks played by themselves. They played an array of clubs, private functions and cabarets.
Sometime in 2018 they decided to call it a day.
